A little know-how
01Build the tool kit around your bike
Check the bolts, chain and tyre setup on your bike before choosing a multi-tool. Groove and Groove Pro offer different functions; an integrated tool is useful only if it can reach the parts you need. Carry compatible spares and practise at home.
02Make room for water and luggage
The Kinetic cage offers an adjustable carrying position. Check bottle access alongside a frame bag and leave clearance for cables and moving suspension parts. An in-bar tool also needs a compatible handlebar; measure first.
03Keep puncture repair and inflation together
A tubeless plug tool does not inflate a tyre. Carry compatible inflation equipment and an appropriate backup plan. For multi-day rides, the refillable Luberetta can carry a small amount of suitable chain lubricant; it is supplied empty.
