Make room for the right gear

Choose a dry bag for where it will travel.

Weight and durability pull in different directions. A thin organiser protected inside a backpack has a different job from a bag lashed outside. Choose the position first, then the volume and closure.

Lightweight internal storage

The Ultra-Sil Dry Bag uses lightweight fabric to organise gear inside another bag.

Before you choose

The stocked 3 L option is listed at 30 g. Protect it from rubbing and sharp equipment; a lightweight organiser is not a rugged outer bag.

Tougher exposed storage

The Big River Dry Bag uses heavier fabric and lash points for a more exposed load.

Before you choose

The 5 L and 8 L options have different weights and packed dimensions. Allow room for three rolls of the closure; do not submerge the bag.

A case for a phone

Compare the TPU Guide Waterproof Phone Case when you need dedicated protection and access to a device.

Before you choose

Measure the phone with its normal protective case attached. Review the manufacturer’s closure and testing instructions before heading out.

Litres do not describe the shape of your packed equipment. Check dimensions and leave enough free material to close a roll-top correctly. Protect important items separately and inspect closures before each trip.
